Another winner from the library of the legendary Binky, this recipe comes straight from across the pond with big, British attitude to boot! This English Pale Ale, commonly referred to as an ESB or Extra Special Bitter, features delicious Lyle’s Golden Syrup. This syrup is often used for baking, but provides amazingly sweet, caramelized flavors that meld perfectly with the biscuity, toffee flavors lent from the Munich, Crystal 40, and Biscuit malts. English Kent Goldings hops balanced out the big, upfront malty notes with a subtle citrusy, spicy flavor.
